Devghat
In Nepali: देवघाट

At Devghat the Kali Gandaki and the Trishuli meet to form the Narayani. It is one of Nepal's holiest confluences, and many elderly Hindus retire to its ashrams to live out their days by the river. Temples and hermitages line the forested banks, linked by a suspension bridge.
The great fair is at Makar Sankranti in January, when tens of thousands bathe at the confluence. It lies just north of Bharatpur and Narayangadh.
What to see and do
Cross the suspension bridge and wander among the ashrams, temples and hermitages along both banks, visit the confluence ghats, and watch the evening prayers. The forested setting and the sound of the rivers make it a peaceful place.
Good to know
Respect the elderly residents and the quiet of the ashrams. It is very crowded at Maghe Sankranti.
